Temporary Change in Water Treatment Process

Published: January 28, 2019

North Texas Municipal Water District “Chlorine Maintenance”, which this year will be called “Temporary Change in Disinfectant”. Attached to this email are 3 PDF’s (JPEG of infographic as well) that are great resources for your customers. The first is a four-page fact sheet that covers a myriad of topics about the month-long disinfectant change, from why it’s needed, to tips on how to reduce odor/taste in water. It also includes some FAQ’s that are based off the calls and questions we received most last year. The second, is an image of the 28-day cycle to help those that would rather “see” the process and what is actually changed during the month. The third is a timeline about the process through March on what will be going on.
